home.

I'm home again [boston]. It's quite odd to have two homes. I've felt it all my life. Like when you first moved to college, your dorm became your home, but then you would go to the home, your parent's home. I never felt comfortable calling anything but my parents home home, but I guess I'm going to have to grow out of that. Eventually I'm going to get married, I'm going to have a wife and kids (maybe), and then our home is going to be home. I guess a definite home is something you come to terms with. It's more then just where you hang your hat.

What a rant.

It's good to be back. I'll delve into why I was home in the first place later on, that's something else I'm coming to terms with. And its not easy.

Mulch and a missing Simon.

So I was walking around and the weather of course has been nice, the air has been a mix of warm and cool, a bee even found its way into our apartment. A bee.

Do you have any idea how afraid I am of bees? There could not have been a more frightening insect.

In the air hangs the pungent odor of mulch. Am I the only person on earth that hates the smell of mulch? I can't even place what it smells like, other then it makes me want to die. Drastic I know, but thats the truth.

Simon never came back from home after Easter! He's gonna be up in NY for a week, so till then, the place is mine.

hello easter bunny

I was struggling to understand where the rabbit came into this whole "easter" thing. Easter is a celebration of the ressurrection if I'm not mistaken (I've never been quite the expert on Christian religion), and somehow this translates to bunny who hides eggs and brings you a basket. There are plenty of rants on the commercialization of Christmas and Easter, and I won't turn this into one of those, but ponder it for me anyways.

Simon's been away, and its just been me keeping the home fries sizzling on the skillet (is that the right analogy?). I did visit my parents today, just for the heck of it. Parent's get awkward once you pass the age of 21, Simon's parents waited till he graduated the pull the whole what are you doing with your life thing, I still have got a semester left, which cannot escape being brought up once.

What is up with that?

Anyways, I just wanted to say this weeks episode's gonna be a good one, so be sure to check it out. The You Tube thing is great because we can see how many people are watching the streaming version, almost up to 300 last I checked!! Exciting! And more people have downloaded the iPod version then ever this past week. Hopefully we've got new subscribers!

later kids!

Happy Easter

So steady, life is steady. Work is steady, but am I going anywhere because of it? No, because my job has nothing to do with the direction of my life, but what is the direction of my life? Why am I up on my day off? When did 8:00am become early? When I went to college. Oh good, I at least had one answer.

I'm heading home for Easter, Harry's driving me to the bus. I wasn't going to go home but I got guilted into it.

I need to find time to get a new license since mine was stolen. Why haven't I gotten one? The DMV has hours worse then a bank, I never seem to find time to get over there when their open! I drive my car, but I feel like I'm risking it, isn't the only time you get pulled over the time you are least prepared for it? A month old car-inspection, a tail-light out, you're late for a pressing engagement, and you had your license stolen. It hasn't happen yet, but I'm taking a risk everytime I get behind the beat up four-doors wheel.

Happy Easter.
