blind date.

harry reporting!

Talked to Simon today, his parents are switching from dial-up to cable internet or something. I'm trying to get him to get a webcam, and no...not for that....since I can't shoot him, it'd be cool if he could blog stuff from afar! Why not right?

I'm going on a blind date with someone I met on myspace tomorrow. Awkward, weird. I know. But we'll see how that goes!

If Zombie movies are your thing, by all means, check out my friends blog/movie "Zombie University," There's a teaser trailer on there!

Don't forget to check out this weeks episode! And check back late Monday for the latest episode in the saga that is the podcast!

John the Subletter

John seems to be content with sleeping on the hardwood floor of the living room, according to him, he's studying abroad, he's from Maine, but I'm only beginning to understand what those people think. (I apologize, as this is an overgeneralization of people from Maine....Mainemen?)

What I find most odd about this sleeping arrangement, isn't the fact that he's sleeping on a hardwood floor, but that John does not require a pillow, or blanket for that matter. He hasn't showered or brushed his teeth once. I'm not really sure what his deal is, but its odd, as you would think such a fellow would suffer from a very particular odor, but John does not. He just simply seems to exist without any maintenance. He is gone exactly ten hours and twenty-three minutes each day. I think he's in school, we don't really talk.

Not that I was looking for someone to take Simon's place, but its weird having him gone, it just does not feel right. It's weird because 90% of my friends from college went back home, or dropped off the face of the earth rather rapidly. Not that I was really looking for someone to be friends with in a subletter, but at least someone I could converse with.

craigslist and subletting

Clearly, I can't afford this tiny place by myself, but then I have a dilemma, where do you find a roommate? Everyone said Craigslist...of course, you ask yourself, why not ask Everyone to come live with me? Well, I don't have enough rooms. Not to mention the question of....where are they going to sleep?

We'll figure that out later.

Looking for a roommate is much like looking for a girlfriend, you can't settle, and you can't be too picky. But this is worse then personal ads, because its not like they can hold you if you've been having a bad day. Well, I guess they can, but would you respond to an ad that had, "and a shoulder to cry on?"

Anyways, the stream of interest has been alarming, I'm looking for someone who isn't really looking for anything permanent, Simon could come back at any time, or, you know, maybe I'll meet Miss Right rather then Miss Right Now. In any case, I'm taping the interviews, with full permission of course....

I hardly ever give a sneak peek to next weeks episode, but yes, it is going to be interesting.

I miss you Simon.

PS The pillow smells like you.

PPS Was that awkward for you? Because I was kidding. Like seriously, I really was I swear.

hello the podcast: episode 1

hey guys,

so harry has uploaded the updated site, and the new episode. I bet you guys didn't see this coming!?

I just can't afford to live in boston anymore, it was a risk, and I don't think I've made a mistake, turning in my chips and heading home. I'll let you know of that in a short few weeks, once I've reached my wits end by hearing my Dad tell me "I told you so." Nothing hurts more then to admit defeat, but thats when the healing begins...right?

I'll keep blogging here on the podcast blog, and I'll probably pop-up sometime this season, so keep watching, Harry has got some huge ideas, and I'm sure taking on the lease and my car isn't going to be an easy task by any means.

So thanks for watching me, and keep watching the Podcast!!
